Five tools built for this kit and one from the IA9100 Transition Package, with this handbook to run them as one system. They share the same example plant and the same record numbers, so you can follow one situation through all of them.
| AQL | Tool | Format | What it does in the system |
|---|---|---|---|
| G01 | Training and Competence Matrix | Excel | Who can do what, at what level, on which shift; coverage; the training plan |
| G02 | Operator Qualification and Authorization Record | Excel | The evidence behind every stamp, release and signature; authorization and stamp registers |
| G03 | Retraining After a Quality Failure Record | Word, PDF | Whenever retraining is proposed after a failure: the gate, the link to the corrective action, the follow-up |
| G04 | Training Effectiveness Evaluation | Excel | Showing training changed what happens on the job |
| G05 | Quality Awareness Briefing Checklist | Word, PDF | Short workplace briefings on what matters, and a check that they landed |
| H06 | Transition Training Needs Assessment | Excel | Planning training for the move to IA9100 (not yet final), in the IA9100 Transition Package |
The kit connects to two others. The Retraining After a Quality Failure Record (G03) belongs to the CAPA Command Kit (AQL-K01) as well: it is the gate any corrective action passes through before retraining is accepted as part of it. And the matrix's coverage and the authorization register are the competence evidence for the 'adequacy of resources' input to management review (the Management Review Kit, AQL-F03 and AQL-F05).
