The problem it solves
Several IA9100 draft changes are training changes at heart: counterfeit awareness for four named functions, product-safety responsibilities, ethics awareness and a way to raise concerns for everyone, information security basics, measurement systems analysis for whoever runs gauge studies. In a shop of sixty to a hundred people that adds up to a few hundred hours, landing on the same people who run production, and it is easy to record a sign-in sheet that changed nothing. This workbook lists the needs by role, sets the depth and the method, adds up the hours so management can plan them, tracks each to done, and asks how you will know it worked.
Who uses it
Quality managers and HR or the training coordinator, with the department heads whose people are trained.
When
Once now, after the planning matrix (AQL-H02); monthly while training runs; and again when the final IA9100 text is published, since the final wording may change who needs what.
