The weekly supplier meeting
- SCAR stages due this week and overdue, each with one decision: help, a new date with a reason, or escalate.
- Conditions on approvals due in the next two weeks.
- Recovery plans: this week's line on the Weekly tracker and the overdue actions.
- Status changes since last week: has purchasing changed what it orders, and receiving what it inspects?
- Anything new from receiving that looks like the start of a pattern.
What to take to management review
| Figure | Why it matters | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Supplier on-time delivery, all lines | What your own delivery feels | One large supplier hiding behind the average |
| Lot acceptance or receiving rejects | Quality coming through the door | Few but severe rejects |
| Suppliers Red, and on conditions, probation or recovery | Where the risk is concentrated | Red suppliers still fully approved |
| Open SCARs, overdue stages and reopened SCARs | Whether corrective action works at suppliers | SCARs closed on implementation |
| Evaluations overdue and certificates renewing within 60 days | Whether the list is a control | Dates nobody is watching |
| Sole sources without a plan | Exposure if one stops | Customer-directed sole sources forgotten |
