The Supplier Quarterly Business Review Template (AQL-C05) runs a one-hour review with a supplier's management in nine slides: the quarter in numbers, four quarters of trend, quality and delivery in detail, the supplier's own view, what is coming, actions with owners on both sides, and where the supplier stands. Hold it quarterly for High-risk and key suppliers, twice a year for Medium, yearly for Low, and at each gate of a recovery plan.
- Send the deck three working days ahead, and ask the supplier to fill its own slide.
- Bring someone who can decide; ask for theirs.
- Count the late lines you caused, and take at least one action of your own.
- End with the supplier's status and what would change it, up or down, said plainly.
- Send the actions within two working days, and record the review on the approved list.
