The Calibration Control Kit HandbookChapter 13 of 22

Records that hold up

An auditor tests a calibration system by following a chain: from a part's inspection record to the instrument, from the instrument to its certificate, from an out-of-tolerance certificate to its assessment, and from a key characteristic to its gauge study. Every link must be a record you can pull in minutes.
