The problem it solves
Calibration shows a gauge reads true on a standard. It does not show the gauge is fit for the characteristic it measures, in the hands of the people who use it. Customers and auditors increasingly ask for that proof behind key characteristics and capability numbers, and most small shops have a few studies in a folder and no plan. This worksheet lists every measurement system that needs proving, picks the study, schedules it, and turns each result into a verdict and a re-study date, so the gaps are visible before someone else finds them.
Who uses it
Quality engineers and metrology or calibration staff; quality managers who review the plan.
When
Set it up from your control plans and calibration register; add a line for every new gauge, key characteristic or capability study; review monthly and before audits.
Free to use, change and copy, in your own organization or with your clients; add your own logo, keep the Aegis credit. Part of: Calibration Control Kit. Clause references: 7.1.5, 7.1.5.1 (with 8.5.1 and 9.1.1) (numbers only; use your own licensed copy of the standard).
A management aid, not certification or a registrar audit. Using it does not by itself show conformity to AS9100D or any other standard.
