The problem it solves
Customer requirements arrive in a dozen places: purchase order clauses, drawing notes, called-out specifications, supplier quality manuals, scorecards. Contract review reads them once, and then they live in people's heads. When an auditor or a customer asks where a clause was flowed, and how you know your supplier is meeting it, the answer takes a week of searching, and sometimes the honest answer is that it never was. This register puts each requirement on one line with where it went, how it is verified and the open gap, so the flow-down is a record, not a memory.
Who uses it
Quality and contracts staff who review customer requirements; supplier quality, who flow them to suppliers; process owners, who build them into procedures and routers.
When
At contract review for every new order, contract or revision; when a customer issues a new supplier quality manual or clause set; reviewed quarterly and before every customer or registrar audit.
Free to use, change and copy, in your own organization or with your clients; add your own logo, keep the Aegis credit. Part of: Supplier Performance and Recovery Kit. Clause references: 8.2.2, 8.2.3, 8.4.3 (numbers only; use your own licensed copy of the standard).
Ready for an Audit Defense Pack. Its Pack 15 Flowdown tab repeats your records in the format the AeroAssure Audit Defense Pack reads, and fills in as you work: send the workbook as it is, with nothing to retype. The Audit Defense Pack Starter lists every file a pack reads.
A management aid, not certification or a registrar audit. Using it does not by itself show conformity to AS9100D or any other standard.
