Executive Quality Recovery Report
Eight slides that tell executives, yours or a customer's, where a quality recovery stands: what happened, how the customer is protected, the cause, the plan, the evidence it is working, the risks and the decisions needed.

The problem it solves
When quality goes wrong in a way executives notice (an escape, a falling customer scorecard, a supplier on probation, a customer's corrective action request) the quality team is asked for updates every week and answers with whatever it has: an 8D, a spreadsheet, a long email. Executives can't tell whether the customer is protected, whether the cause is really known, or whether the recovery is on track, and the customer's executives get a different story from each conversation. This deck gives the recovery one shape, the same every time it is reported: eight slides from what happened to what we need, with the evidence on the slide and the criteria for calling the recovery done agreed in advance.
Who uses it
Quality directors and managers reporting a recovery to their own executives or to a customer's; supplier quality leaders reporting on a supplier's recovery.
When
From the first week after a significant escape, a scorecard drop, a probation or a customer corrective action request; then at a fixed interval, usually monthly, until the agreed closure criteria are met.
