The problem it solves

Most process maps are drawn once for the quality manual and never used again: a row of boxes with arrows that show the order of work but not what passes between processes, who owns each hand-off, or how anyone knows it works. Auditors then ask the question the map should answer: how does this process connect to that one? This worksheet builds a map you can use: the processes and their owners, the map itself as editable PowerPoint shapes, a turtle diagram for each process, and an interaction matrix that names what passes across every hand-off.

Who uses it

Quality managers who own the quality system, and the process owners who fill in their own turtles.

When

When you set up or restructure the quality system, before a certification or recertification audit, after a reorganization, and once a year at management review.
