Management Review Standard
A procedure template for management review that you adopt and edit: who attends, how often, every input and its owner, how the review is prepared, run and minuted, and how each decision is followed to closure.
Free to use, change and copy inside your own organization. Editable Word, plus a fillable PDF you can complete on screen.
The problem it solves
Many small aerospace shops have a management review procedure that says little more than 'top management reviews the quality system annually'. Nobody knows who brings which input, the meeting happens when an audit is near, the minutes record discussion rather than decisions, and actions from one review are rediscovered at the next. This standard is a complete procedure written to be adopted: it sets the frequency, the attendees and their roles, every input with an owner, the preparation timeline, how the meeting runs, what the outputs must contain, how actions are followed to closure and which records are kept. Fill in the bracketed fields, delete what does not apply, and issue it under your own document control.
Who uses it, and when
Quality managers and quality directors who own the management review process, and the general manager or plant manager who chairs it. When you write or rewrite your management review procedure, when you take over a quality system, or when an audit finding says your reviews don't cover every input or don't produce decisions.
