The problem it solves

Problems arrive from six directions: NCRs, customer complaints and returns, internal and external audits, suppliers, SPC signals and people on the floor. Each lands in a different inbox and gets ranked by whoever shouts loudest. Some get a full corrective action they did not need; others, including repeats, get a quick fix and come back. This tool puts every incoming problem on one log, ranks it with three plain levels and weights you control, suggests a route, records the decision and the reason, and sets the containment and response dates so nothing waits unseen.

Who uses it, and when

Quality managers and whoever triages NCRs, complaints, audit findings and supplier issues. Log each problem the day it arrives, decide the route within a day or two, and review the log and the Summary at the weekly quality meeting.
